M&T Bank economist delivers upbeat forecast for Binghamton
BINGHAMTON, NY, February 12, 2008: Gary D. Keith, an economist and vice president for M&T Bank, told an audience of 200 today that despite national economic challenges 2008 would be a good year for the Greater Binghamton economy. At a Binghamton Club forum sponsored by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce Keith said more than 1,000 new manufacturing jobs had been created in the Binghamton MSA over the past two years.
